Smoked Pork Sausage Quiche

About this recipe: This is lovely, it is also cheap and easy to make. It can be served with salad for a light lunch or with potatoes and veg for a filling main course.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 shop-bought flan case
  • 1 Mattesson's smoked sausage, diced (for a 'small' flan case, just use half)
  • 2 eggs
  • 150ml single cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Ready in:45min 

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 C / Gas 6. Place the diced smoked sausage in the flan case.
  2. In a large bowl mix the eggs with the single cream and whisk until creamed together. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour egg and cream mixture over the smoked sausage. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes until golden brown.
