Chocolate crunch with a twist

    1 hour 20 min

Frosties crunch is already a recipe made on its own, so I decided to mix around with the ingredients and add more ingredients and this is what I came out with, it is very delicious!

    4 people made this

    Serves: 20

    • 450g (16 oz) of a mix of milk, plain, orange and white chocolate
    • 6 tablespoons of golden syrup
    • 100g (4 oz) of margarine
    • 200g (8 oz) of Frosties or similar cereal

    Prep:20min  ›  Extra time:1hr setting  ›  Ready in:1hr20min

    1. Get a 20cm (8 in) shallow round tin (a bigger tin would be better!). Grease the tin with a little butter or line with greaseproof paper. Grease the inside well but don't leave too much butter on the tin.
    2. Put a bowl over a pan of simmering water on the hob and break the chocolate into the bowl. When some of the chocolate is melted add the margarine and the syrup. Gently stir the mixture all the time.
    3. When the chocolate mixture has melted add the Frosties (or other cereals) and stir really well. Make sure the cereal is covered in the chocolate mixture.
    4. Pour the mixture into the tin, carefully smooth the top of the mixture with the back of a spoon. Put the tin in a fridge for the chocolate to set. It will take about 1 hour. Use a sharp knife to cut it into pieces.
    5. Be careful and enjoy cooking and eating!! Comment and give me feedback about how my recipe went with your cooking!
