Chinese Firebolt

    5 min

I created this mocktail with my stepfather, and it is great for parties. We named it after the fierce dragon in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. You'll love this - it's refreshing and fizzy!

    6 people made this

    Serves: 1

    • 1 tablespoon grenadine syrup
    • 1 tablespoon lime juice
    • 1 (330ml) can Coke
    • 1 strip of lemon zest, for garnish

    Prep:5min  ›  Ready in:5min

    1. Pour the grenadine and lime juice into a tall glass. Pour in the Coke to mix. Float a strip of lemon zest on top to garnish.

The drink is excellent. Going to use it for a pre-teen New Year's Eve party. But, I think, the Harry Potter dragon is the Chinese Fireball. The Firebolt is a brand of Broomstick.  -  30 Dec 2010  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Sounds good. Think I'll make soon. However the name of the dragon Harry faced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is called the Hungarian Horntail. The Chinese Fireball is the one Viktor Krum faced, and the Firebolt is the broomstick Sirius sent Harry in Prisinor of Azkaban.  -  11 Dec 2012  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Really great drink! Gives you a cocktail feel without the alcohol.I'm an HP fanatic as well, family loved it too  -  25 May 2010  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
