About this recipe:These little bites are delicious, easy to make and look pretty to boot. Dried figs are filled with a mixture of soft goat cheese, honey and brandy, then sprinkled with chopped walnuts. Try toasting the walnuts for even more flavour, or even popping the stuffed figs under the grill for a couple of minutes to warm them ever so slightly.
175g soft goat cheese
1 tablespoon brandy
1 tablespoon honey
24 dried figs
60g chopped walnuts

In a small bowl, stir together the goat cheese, brandy and honey. Cut the stems off of the figs, and fill them with the flavoured goat cheese using a pastry bag or small spoon. Cut each fig in half lengthways. Dip the cheese side in walnuts to coat, then arrange them on a serving tray with the nuts facing upwards.
