Honey, Mustard and Ginger Salmon

About this recipe: This is the best use of storecupboard ingredients. Just 5 ingredients in all make for a baked salmon dish that is full of flavour. Serve with rice, wild rice, salad or your favourite veg for a fab meal.


Serves: 4 

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh root ginger
  • 450g salmon fillets

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
  2. In a small bowl, blend olive oil, honey, Dijon mustard and ginger.
  3. Brush salmon fillets evenly with the olive oil mixture. Place in a medium baking dish. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
