About this recipe: This waffle recipe is truly special. Made with treacle, golden syrup, cinnamon and ginger, they are reminiscent of good gingerbread. Serving with the homemade chocolate sauce is optional; they are equally delicious with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream.
