About this recipe: If you're a fan of French toast and peanut butter, this is the recipe for you. Bread is dipped in a mixture of peanut butter, milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla, before being pan-fried until golden. Serve with sliced bananas.


Serves: 2 

  • 125ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 slices bread

  1. Whisk together milk, eggs, peanut butter, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place in pan and cook on both sides until golden, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Serve hot.
