A very light, refreshing and fruity sorbet made with orange juice, lemon just, zest, pineapple and a sugar syrup. Perfect to serve as a dessert or a treat on those warm summer days.
Delicious! I used 1/2 cup of granulated splenda instead of sugar (you cant weigh splenda, you have to measure it) and one whole fresh pineapple (cored and peeled) instead of canned. Its so yum and only 40 kcals - 18 Aug 2011

This was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are on a diet, so I thought I'd whip up a low calorie dessert for us using my brand new ice cream maker. Instead of sugar, I used Splenda (low calorie sweetener). The Splenda dissolved immediately in the water, so I didn’t boil it. After I puréed the pineapple I mixed in all ingredients including the sugar water, and poured it into my ice cream maker. - 22 Apr 2006 (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
