Cheese and onion dip

About this recipe:
This dip is quick, easy and delicious and feeds a large crowd. Try experimenting with different types of cheese. Serve with plenty of crackers.
225g (8 oz) grated Cheddar cheese
450g (16 oz) mayonnaise
2 red onions, chopped
60g (2 oz) grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 160 C / Gas mark 3. Lightly grease a 1 litre baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and onion. Transfer to the baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven 40 to 45 minutes, or until onions are tender and the mixture is bubbly and lightly browned.
