    About this recipe: This dip is quick, easy and delicious and feeds a large crowd. Try experimenting with different types of cheese. Serve with plenty of crackers.

    Serves: 40 

    • 225g (8 oz) grated Cheddar cheese
    • 450g (16 oz) mayonnaise
    • 2 red onions, chopped
    • 60g (2 oz) grated Parmesan cheese

    1. Preheat oven to 160 C / Gas mark 3. Lightly grease a 1 litre baking dish.
    2. In a medium bowl, mix Cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and onion. Transfer to the baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven 40 to 45 minutes, or until onions are tender and the mixture is bubbly and lightly browned.
