    • 1 (400g) tin chickpeas, drained and mashed
    • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • 1 teaspoon hot English mustard
    • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle
    • 2 spring onions, chopped
    • salt and pepper to taste

    1. In a medium bowl, combine chickpeas, mayonnaise, mustard, relish, chopped spring onions, salt and pepper. Mix well.

    I am new to low cholesterol eating and was led to believe eggs are high in cholesterol. Mayonnaise is made with eggs so is this dish really low cholesterol?  -  15 Aug 2012
