About this recipe: Use your favourite brand of pasta sauce or tinned chopped tomatoes. Add chicken, green peppers, onion, garlic and mushrooms and you're done! The slow cooker does the rest. Serve with roast potatoes, mash, rice or pasta.

Altered ingredient amounts. As per Kraney I did the same and added about half a glass of red wine and cooked for 7 hours on low. Was ace!! - 06 Feb 2009
Used different ingredients. This is a great basic recipe, but I found it a bit bland & watery. I tried again & scaled it for 4 servings, used a small jar of pasta sauce, which made a nice thick sauce. I also added spices (oregano, basil, salt, pepper) and it came out great the 2nd time! - 18 Jul 2008
