Soured Cream, Dill and Caviar Sauce

About this recipe: This Swedish sauce tastes delicious with fresh salmon and new potatoes in the summertime. You can find the caviar in most supermarkets but it's cheaper at IKEA!


Serves: 8 

  • 250ml soured cream
  • 225g creme fraiche
  • 120ml (about 8 tablespoons) mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 100g lumpfish caviar

Prep:15min  ›  Extra time:1hr chilling  ›  Ready in:1hr15min 

  1. In a bowl, stir together soured cream, creme fraiche, mayonnaise, fresh dill and white pepper. Carefully mix in caviar. Cover, and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
