    About this recipe: A traditional South African dessert.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 1 cake

    • 1 tin caramel (or boiled tin of condensed milk)
    • 250ml cream, whipped
    • 1 packet tennis biscuits (or NICE biscuits)
    • 1 peppermint crisp (or similar mint choc)

    Method
    Prep:30min  ›  Extra time:4hr chilling  ›  Ready in:4hr30min 

    1. Place caramel in large mixing bowl and mix it so that it all smooths out and softens.
    2. Whip cream and using a spatula, slowly fold cream into caramel.
    3. Place a layer of biscuits at bottom of dish, spoon over half the mixture, place another layer of each and sprinkle with chocolate.
    4. Leave in fridge overnight (or at least 4 hours) to set.
