    About this recipe: Juicy burgers with Gorgonzola blue cheese.

    Serves: 6 

    • 675g minced beef
    • 90g Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
    • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
    • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • salt and black pepper to taste

    1. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate 2+ hours.
    2. BBQ over medium heat until desired temperature is reached.

    Cook's note

    Make sure the Gorgonzola is loose and in small pieces...large chunks will melt and run out on the BBQ. For the same reason, cooking to medium at most is best. Overcooking just makes a puddle of cheese on the barbecue.
