This pie freezes well - simply assemble the pie and freeze before baking. Once you're ready to bake, simply throw it in the oven straight from the freezer.
Very tasty !! Even with limited ingredients, fresh thyme and onions, I halved the recipe for a smaller portion and it made a fab home made meal for me and my 3 year old daughter (she loved the egg yolk in the mash). I also added mayonnaise in the mash to make it nice and creamy! - 27 Sep 2010
