Very simple poached pears

    Just two ingredients for this simple snack. For diabetics, diet soda can be used. It's a nice healthy dessert.

    • 1 pear per person
    • fizzy lemonade or ginger ale

    1. Peel, halve and core pears.
    2. Place into dish and cover with lemonade or ginger ale. Microwave for 10 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
