About this recipe:A spontaneous and easy recipe for spaghetti with sausages and bacon. For a meatier sauce, you can omit the sweetcorn and mushrooms. Likewise, you can try substituting other veg, such as chopped green pepper.
250g bacon, chopped and cooked
olive oil for frying
1 small tin sweetcorn kernels, drained
1 small tin chopped mushrooms, drained
1 jar (500g) tomato pasta sauce

Cook the spaghetti according to packet directions. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, cook the chopped bacon in a frying pan till crisp. Drain excess fat, remove bacon from pan. In the same pan, cook the sausages in a frying pan with a glug of oil.
Remove sausages from pan, cut into pieces, put back in the pan and add the sweetcorn, mushrooms, bacon pieces and pasta sauce.
Cook ingredients with any extra herbs and spices of your own choice for approximately 15 minutes.
Serve on top of cooked spaghetti with whatever side dish you choose.
