    About this recipe: When berries are in season and at their best, make this easy dessert platter and watch your guests eyes light up when you bring it to the table. So simple, yet elegant and delicious. A great example of what fresh, local ingredients can do! You can use other berries, as well - including blackberries or even redcurrants.

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 punnet of strawberries
    • 1 punnet of raspberries
    • 1 punnet of blueberries
    • 1 teaspoon of liqueur such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier (optional)
    • ice cream, cream or creme fraiche

    1. Wash berries and dry carefully. Arrange them on a pretty platter. Sprinkle with liqueur, if using. You can also dust them with icing sugar.
    2. Serve with ice cream, cream or creme fraiche. Enjoy!


    For a pretty presentation, mound some cream, ice cream or creme fraiche in the middle of your platter, then scatter the berries around the sides. Then serve family-style at the table.
