220g dark brown soft sugar
125g butter, melted
190g self-raising flour
175g chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
Beat egg and sugar together until it goes frothy. Add melted butter and mix. Add flour, salt and chocolate chips. Mix together.
Drop spoonfuls onto a baking tray (use a sheet of baking parchment on tray). Bake in oven for 10 minutes. Let cool on trays.
