500g minced beef
1 onion, chopped
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1 tin tomato soup
1 teaspoon marmite
2 teaspoons dried basil

In a saucepan heat 1 tablespoon of the oil and brown mince (an easy way to get lumps out of mince while cooking is to use a whisk!). Place mince in a sieve and rest while fat drains.
While fat is draining, in same saucepan add remaining tablespoon of oil and add onions. Cook gently till soft, approximately 5 minutes. Add garlic, cook gently for 2 minutes.
Return mince to saucepan add remaining ingredients. Cook for 10 minutes. Serve with your favourite pasta.
