    About this recipe: Make your Bolognese sauce taste like it has been simmering away all day long. A super easy recipe that your family will think you slaved over! Serve with any sort of pasta. This also freezes well.

    Serves: 3 

    • 2 tablespoons oil
    • 500g minced beef
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 large clove garlic, crushed
    • 1 tin tomato soup
    • 125ml water
    • 1 teaspoon marmite
    • 2 teaspoons dried basil

    1. In a saucepan heat 1 tablespoon of the oil and brown mince (an easy way to get lumps out of mince while cooking is to use a whisk!). Place mince in a sieve and rest while fat drains.
    2. While fat is draining, in same saucepan add remaining tablespoon of oil and add onions. Cook gently till soft, approximately 5 minutes. Add garlic, cook gently for 2 minutes.
    3. Return mince to saucepan add remaining ingredients. Cook for 10 minutes. Serve with your favourite pasta.
