    This is a great substitute for egg. It's great if you want to make something egg-free/vegan-friendly. It works with muffins, cakes and most breads.

    • 2 tablespoons ground linseed
    • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
    • 50ml water

    1. Mix everything together, let settle for 3-4 minutes. Use as you would an egg in your recipe.


    Ground linseed (flax seed) is also known as linseed meal. You can purchased them in health speciality shops or online.
