About this recipe:
These vegetarian morsels are packed full of flavour and protein. They are also quick and easy to make. You can shape them into large burgers or small balls.
2 (400g) tins chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon tahini (sesame paste)
3 cloves garlic, chopped
25g chopped parsley
1 teaspoon ground cumin
salt and pepper
1 squeeze lemon juice
oil to fry
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
- Shape into burgers or tablespoon-sized balls. Shallow-fry in hot oil until golden on both sides.
- Drain on kitchen towels an serve.
