Super-Easy Chocolate Chip Biscuits

    A delicious biscuit, which is simple to throw together. Feel free to substitute in nuts or dried fruit, if you desire. Enjoy with a cup of tea, coffee or glass of milk.

    Serves: 10 

    • 500g margarine
    • 1 (397g) tin sweetened condensed milk
    • 250g chocolate chips
    • 250g white chocolate chips
    • 625g self-raising flour
    • 100g caster sugar

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Beat margarine, sugar and condensed milk together with an electric beater until light and creamy.
    3. With a wooden spoon, mix in flour and chocolate chips.
    4. Then roll dessertspoons of mixture into balls. Place on baking tray and bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.

    Freezing tip

    Roll the dough into a log, wrap in clingfilm and freeze. When needed, thaw in the fridge before slicing and baking.
