Chocolate Fruity Fudge Balls

    This is a great no-cook recipe to make with the kids. Chocolate fudge balls are formed from butter, sugar, cocoa, cherries, raisins and walnuts. Roll into different coatings, if desired.

    Makes: 10 

    • 115g butter
    • 225g icing sugar
    • 55g cocoa powder
    • 4 tablespoons chopped dried cherries
    • 125g chopped raisins
    • 55g chopped walnuts
    • 1 tablespoon brandy or orange juice
    • 1 egg white, lightly beaten

    Prep:15min  ›  Extra time:30min chilling  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Cream butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
    2. Work in the cocoa, fruit, nuts and liquid.
    3. Gradually add just enough egg white until the mixture is firm, but not too dry.
    4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then roll into balls.
    5. Toss the balls in chocolate sprinkles, walnuts or desiccated coconut.
