About this recipe: This is a great recipe that both adults and kids will enjoy. Peanut butter and jam sandwiches are dipped into egg, then pan-fried to perfection. Simple and delicious.


Serves: 6 

  • peanut butter as needed
  • jam as needed
  • 125ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 30g butter, divided
  • 12 slices bread

  1. Beat together the eggs and milk until creamy and pale.
  2. Melt 1/3 of the butter in a frying pan over medium-low heat.
  3. Spread 6 slices of bread with peanut butter and 6 slices of bread with jam. Create a peanut butter-jam sandwich by sticking together 1 slice peanut butter bread with 1 slice jam bread. Repeat with the remaining bread.
  4. Working in batches, dip two sandwiches into the egg mixture and pan-fry until golden, about 2-3 minutes per side. Repeat with the other sandwiches and serve.
