Creamy Microwaved Salmon Lasagne

    This lasagne is simple and easy to make. Pasta sheets are layered with a chard, white sauce and salmon, then microwaved to perfection.

    Serves: 6 

    • lasagne sheets as needed
    • 350g cooked and squeezed dry chard
    • 1 chopped onion, cooked
    • 500g ricotta cheese
    • 250g yoghurt
    • 1 (418g) tin salmon, drained
    • 250g creamy pasta sauce
    • 750ml white sauce, such as Dolmio
    • 125g mature Cheddar cheese, grated
    • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil)

    1. In a bowl, mix together the chard, onion, ricotta and yoghurt.
    2. In another bowl, mix together the salmon and creamy pasta sauce.
    3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons white sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
    4. Arrange a layer of lasagne sheets on top. Cover with chard mixture.
    5. Cover with a layer of lasagne sheets, then 1/2 of the white sauce.
    6. Arrange another layer of lasagne sheets, then cover with salmon mixture.
    7. Top with another layer of lasagne sheets, then the remaining white sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and chopped basil.
    8. Microwave on medium for 15-20 minutes.
