Mini chocolate Christmas puddings

    These are definitely for the kids (or the kid in you). Chocolate tea cakes are made to look like Christmas puddings! A fantastic Christmas treat that's quick and easy to make.

    Serves: 12 

    • 100g white cooking chocolate, broken into chunks
    • 12 Tunnock's tea cakes (chocolate coated marshmallow biscuits)
    • 12 Allen's Jaffas (red, hard-shelled chocolate balls with orange centres)
    • spearmint leaves, cut into smaller leaves

    1. Melt white chocolate in the microwave on medium heat. Stir every 20-30 seconds until fully melted.
    2. Spoon melted chocolate into a sealable plastic bag. Snip one small corner off to make a mini piping bag.
    3. Pipe enough white chocolate on top of the tea cakes, allow to drip down the side to resemble custard flowing over the pudding.
    4. Place a Jaffa on top and a small spearmint leaf each side of the Jaffa and secure in the melted chocolate


    Allen's Jaffas can be purchased online. Alternatively, you can use any other spherical red sweet. If unavailable, use glacé cherries.
