About this recipe: These bars are soft, oaty and packed full of dried fruit. They are perfect to snack on or pop into packed lunches. If you don't like dried fruit, feel free to add in coconut, chocolate chips or nuts.
Needed some tweaking. Even with a sweet tooth I found the original recipe way too much so I took out the golden syrup and put in the same amount of walnuts. The oils from them kept it nice and moist without being sickly sweet. Seriously good. - 25 Mar 2015
