This upside-down cake is simple to make and tastes delicious. A caramel sauce is topped with pears and a light sponge mixture, before being baked. Invert, slice and serve with ice cream or cream.

Yummy! Tried it this afternoon and it's very good! The cake is moist and not too sweet. I used 3 pears instead of 2. Also, 30 minutes in the oven was more than enough..Will do again! - 05 Apr 2012
