    A refreshing rum cocktail - perfect when you're having a summer party.

    Serves: 1 

    • 1/2 tsp icing sugar
    • Juice of 1/2 lime
    • 4 fresh mint leaves
    • Crushed ice
    • 2 fl oz Bacardi rum
    • Soda water

    Prep:2min  ›  Ready in:2min 

    1. In a tall glass, stir icing sugar and lime juice together.
    2. Slightly crush the mint leaves and add to glass.
    3. Fill glass with crushed ice, add rum and stir.
    4. Add soda water to fill glass (or to taste), and garnish with more fresh mint.

    Altered ingredient amounts. I use more like 10 mint leaves and instead of crushing them, i slap them between my hands to release the flavours.  -  21 Oct 2008


    Used different ingredients. If you can get gomme (a very sweet syrup used to sweeten drinks), or even brown sugar, this works better than icing sugar. It's also not as messy.  -  21 Oct 2008
