This quiche has considerably less fat than the average quiche. An egg custard made with skimmed milk and light cheese is baked without a pastry base. It's simple and delicious.

very handy recipe, thanks! Let's face it, pastry is nice but has little to recommend it nutrition-wise, plus this easy quiche is so versatile- we had it with mushrooms and chopped bacon, sauted in a pan before adding, and sliced tomato on top. - 12 May 2012 (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
