2 tablespoons double cream
1 (200g) tub cream cheese, softened
1/2 lemon, juiced
chopped fresh dill to taste
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
30g (1 oz) salmon roe (optional)

Place smoked salmon in a blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. Mix in cream, cream cheese, juice of half of a lemon, dill, salt and pepper. Blend to desired consistency. Transfer to a medium serving dish, and garnish with salmon roe.
