Bourbon BBQ Marinade

    This is a great little marinade, which is perfect for any type of red meat. BBQ sauce, bourbon whisky, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and ginger are mixed together.

    Serves: 2 

    • 300g BBQ sauce
    • 75ml bourbon whisky
    • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce or to taste
    • 2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    • 1-2 tablespoons finely chopped ginger root
    • salt and pepper to taste

    1. Mix all ingredients together. To use, simply marinade chosen meat for at least 3 hours in the fridge. Marinading for 24 hours gives best results.

    This was pretty good, I used a third of the ingredients to marinate beef jerky overnight and it worked well. Used ginger ground and forgot salt and pepper but it still worked very nicely.  -  19 Sep 2011  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
