    About this recipe: A cool, lightly spiced summer salsa. Makes a great nibble with tortilla crisps.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 48 

    • 2 cucumbers - peeled, seeded and chopped
    • 225ml (8 fl oz) soured cream
    • 225ml (8 fl oz) low fat natural yoghurt
    • handful chopped fresh parsley
    • handful chopped fresh coriander
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste

    Method
    Prep:15min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

    A friend had made a similar recipe at a potluck picnic recently and I WAS excited to find it here...only to find that this recipe is nothing like the one I had tried at the picnic. Its okay but as is, seems to be missing "Umph" ~ and I had added 2 TBLS minced onion. Noone in my family really liked this and I was the only one who found it to be okay. I guess I'll have to get the recipe from my friend but thanks anyway - 15 Sep 2008
