Death By Garlic

    Ten cloves of garlic lightly browned in olive oil and tossed with parsley, dried crushed chillies, penne pasta and freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese. My brothers named this Death By Garlic.

    Serves: 4 

    • 6 to 8 tablespoons olive oil
    • 10 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried crushed chillies, such as Schwartz
    • handful chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 (500g) pack penne pasta
    • grated Pecorino Romano cheese, to garnish

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Cook penne according to pack instructions.
    2. In a pan, brown garlic in oil. Add salt, chillies and parsley and remove from heat.
    3. Toss penne pasta with garlic mixture and freshly grated cheese and serve!

    from an ABSOLUTE GARLIC FIEND I would like Thankyou for posting a great recipe. PS if you ever come across Italian Garlic then please buy and try as they taste amazing and when you remove the skin it comes in one piece unlike regular garlic where you have a number of individual cloves  -  19 Aug 2012
