Preheat an oven to 190 C / Gas 5; prepare a 23x33cm or similar sized glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Whisk together the sugar, soy sauce and garlic granules in a medium bowl. Arrange the wings in the bottom of the prepared dish; pour the soy sauce mixture evenly over the wings.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes; turn the wings over and cook another 20 minutes.
Super simple and nice flavour. You need to wait until the sugar starts to crystallize to get the sweet, stick texture, which meant I had to leave the wings in the oven for about an hour.
