    About this recipe: A super-easy soup made in the slow cooker. This soup consists of beef mince, sweetcorn, potatoes, celery, carrots, onion and cheese sauce. Delicious with a crusty bread roll.

    Makes: 4 - 6 servings

    • 450g minced beef
    • 285g frozen sweetcorn
    • 150g cubed potatoes
    • 125g celery, thinly sliced
    • 125g carrots, sliced
    • 1/2 onion, chopped
    • 500ml water
    • 2 cubes beef stock
    • 3/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
    • 450g cheese sauce

    1. Brown the minced beef and drain.
    2. Put all ingredients except the cheese sauce in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
    3. Add cheese sauce and gently stir until well blended.
