100g onion, chopped
1.2 litres chicken stock
225g dry tagliatelle
225g frozen broccoli florets
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1.5 litres milk
350g processed cheese, such as Kraft singles, unwrapped and chopped

In a large saucepan, saute onion and garlic in margarine over medium heat till tender.
Add stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and add tagliatelle. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in broccoli. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in milk and cheese. Heat slowly, stirring, until cheese melts. DO NOT BOIL. Serve immediately.
