About this recipe: This guacamole has cottage cheese added to it, for extra creaminess that makes it especially addictive. Use as a sandwich filler or a dip with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks.

Serves: 24 

  • 2 avocados, halved and stones removed
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Scotch bonnet chilli, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, finely diced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 450g cottage cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Scoop flesh out of the avocados and place it in a medium size mixing bowl. Mash the avocados well. Add lemon juice to the avocados and mix well. Place tomatoes, Scotch bonnet chilli, red onion, cottage cheese, garlic granules, salt and pepper into the mixing bowl; stir until the ingredient are combined. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
