    About this recipe: A delicious Chinese-inspired baked fish supper. Snapper fillet is dipped in a mixture of soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic, then baked in a foil pouch to perfection. Serve with freshly cooked rice or salad.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 serving oil spray
    • 250ml soy sauce
    • 4 tablespoons honey
    • 1 (5cm) piece fresh root ginger, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    • 1 (900g) whole snapper fillet

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Spray a large sheet of foil with oil spray.
    2. Thoroughly mix the soy sauce, honey, ginger and garlic in a large bowl. Dip both sides of the fish into the soy sauce mixture and place onto the foil. Spoon a little more sauce over the top of the fish. Roll up the foil to completely enclose the fillet.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven until the fish is opaque and flakes easily, about 20 minutes.
