Black Russian
The traditional Black Russian cocktail. Coffee liqueur is stirred with ice, vodka, beer and cola. The perfect drink to be enjoyed all year round. It's wonderful at summer barbecues.
Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 3 tablespoons coffee flavoured liqueur
- 85ml vodka
- 350ml stout beer
- 350ml cola fizzy soft drink

- Half fill a highball glass with ice cubes. Measure in the coffee liqueur and vodka. Pour cola to within 1.25cm of the top. Finish with enough stout to form a 'head' on the top. Stir and serve.

My suggestion is don't make substitutions. I tried making this with diet coke and I didn't have vodka so I thought whiskey would be ok. It wasn't. But the stout and the Khula were good together. - 22 Mar 2009 (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
