About this recipe: A delicious dip to be served at casual parties with chips, crackers, crostini or crusty bread. Cream cheese is mixed with leeks, salad cream and bacon.


Serves: 20 

  • 1 leek, chopped
  • 225g cream cheese, softened
  • 240g salad cream
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 150g cooked streaky bacon, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the leeks, cream cheese, salad cream, vinegar, sugar, bacon bits, salt and pepper. Chill 2 to 3 hours, until cold.
