This is the perfect stew to serve over the cold winter months. Smoked sausage is simmered with potatoes, lentils and tomatoes. It's thick, hearty and full of flavour.

The flavor was really good (better leftover) but the cooking time is off. I think this should be cooked for 3-4 hours because the lentils were really not done after 20minutes. Plus then the flavors could really mix in - 11 Mar 2008 (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
