About this recipe: This pumpkin bread is moist, fruity, nutty and delicious. A whole orange is pureed, then mixed with pumpkin, flour, sugar, walnuts, raisins, eggs and spices and baked to perfection. Serve for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dessert, afternoon tea or elevenses. It's also great popped into packed lunches and for picnics.
Really yummy and the blitzed orange certainly adds a nice flavour and moistness to the bread. Made two smaller loaves (took about 45 minutes in the oven) and had planned to give one to a friend, but my six-year-old wants to eat it instead! Definitely a recipe to keep. - 30 Nov 2011
Beautiful recipe, my family loved it. It came out a more cake consistency, moist, orangey, nutty and so lovely. I did tweak it slightly by stewing the pumpkins and spices with lavender before combining the ingredients 😋 I will definitely make this again 👌🏾 - 08 Oct 2016
