    About this recipe: This dip is wonderfully creamy, delicious and totally moreish. It's meant for children, but adults can enjoy it too! Dip Digestive biscuits or other biscuits into it for a quick and easy dessert.

    Serves: 32 

    • 300ml double cream, whipped
    • 145g instant vanilla dessert mix, such as Angel Delight
    • 425g pumpkin puree
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice or ground cloves

    1. In a large bowl, mix together instant vanilla dessert mix, pumpkin puree and spices. Fold in the whipped cream. Chill in the refrigerator until serving.

    This was amazing and so simple to make. I used a large can 29oz of canned pumpkin and everything else the same as the recipe. I carved the pumpkin and everyone liked it best with Honey Maid cinnamon graham sticks and granny apples.     This is a great low fat dip that I have been making for years. I use fat free/sugar free pudding and lite Cool Whip. I have even put it between 2 graham crackers and into the freezer. Like a pumpkin ice cream sandwich!  -  15 Sep 2006  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)


    I agree with the previous reviews . . . this recipe is simple, delicious and unique. Looked nice with a dusting of fresh, ground nutmeg and a scattering of ginger-snaps & vanilla wafers as dippers. (Best refrigerated overnight.) The second time making the recipe, I added a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and a tablespoon of Butterscotch Schnapps for a little added interest.
