I thought this recipie was ok. I would however roast the parsnips next time to give it more flavour.

This is a lovely recipe. The soup is gorgeous. The only change I made was to use milk instead of cream, but it's still very creamy.

This soup is so quick and easy to make and tastes gorgeous! I will definately make it again. The sweetness of the parsnips goes with the spicyness perfectly.

I will definately be making this again. I loved it! The smell while it was cooking was glorious. Like "sbthatsme" said in the last review - the heat from the curry powder was perfect against the sweetness of the parsnips. It only needs a few tablespoons of cream.

A very tasty soup which would be ideal as a starter served with warm, crusty ciabatta. It is quite sweet naturally and so with the cream it gets a little sickly if you have too much. I would suggest that a small bowlful would be plenty and the rest can be frozen or reheated.

Just made this soup and it was delicous - I followed the recipe with the exception of the cream as I wanted to save calories - I used a little skimmed milk just to thin it down a bit and it was still excellent !!!! I would be happy to serve this soup to friends and highly recommend it !!!

A very tasty soup. Had never had parsnip before and just fell in love with it. I used a bit of soya cream instead of double cream and turned out perfect. Felt very light as well. Definitely recommend it.

Altered ingredient amounts. I only added a couple of tablespoons of cream instead of the whole 100ml.

Made it healthier. I used olive oil instead of butter, and instead of cream I added about 60g of soft goat's cheese. This lent just the right amount of creaminess without compromising on flavour, and saved loads on fat and calories!

Used different ingredients. To make this vegan, substitute the butter for olive oil or dairy free/soya margarine and instead of cream, use a non-dairy soya alternative.

Delicious soup, so easy to make, and even better to eat. I followed the recipe exactly, and have to say is probably the best soup I have ever made. I will definately be making this again, and will make it for guests without worrying it could go wrong. 5 Stars !!!!
