Great recipe, so quick and easy, tasty and cheap! Did everything the night before and kept in my slow cooker pot until morning. I've never done potatoes in my slow cooker so for me the potatoes will a bit too al dente (i like them mushy soft in soup) so next time i would cut them quite small.
I also feel like maybe a half teaspoon of lemon juice at the end would be good just to cut through the richness of the cream and evaporated milk.
And a pinch of dried chilli flakes, little enough that it won't make it taste of chilli but just enough to bring the flavours out. - 24 Oct 2014
