About this recipe: This is the perfect snack for on the go. Pumpkin seeds are tossed in a mixture of butter, garlic granules and salt, then slow roasted. They are crunchy, salty and truly delicious.


Serves: 6 

  • 415g pumpkin seeds
  • 110g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 C / Gas 2.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the pumpkin seeds, butter, garlic granules, salt and seasoned salt until the pumpkin seeds are evenly coated. Spread in an even layer on a baking tray.
  3. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 10 to 15 minutes until toasted. Cool completely on the baking tray, then transfer to a serving dish.

i did these for halloween with honey and garlic everyone loved them just didnt like all the cleaning of seeds first but theres probably an easy way to do it - 26 Nov 2013
