Easy peasy tomato soup
A really easy tomato soup, which takes 15 minutes to make. Tinned tomatoes are simmered with double cream and dried basil. Serve with crusty bread, if desired. For a smoother soup, puree in a liquidiser.

- 2 (400g) tins chopped tomatoes
- 250ml double cream
- 1 teaspoon dried basil

Ready in:15min
- Place tomatoes in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and then turn down to simmer. Stir in cream and basil and serve.
