Super steak marinade
This marinade is not only delicious, but it's also quick and easy to make. It works best with steak, but also goes well with lamb and venison.
Ingredients
Serves: 8
- 250ml vegetable oil
- 175ml soy sauce
- 125ml lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoons English mustard
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- ground black pepper to taste

- Whisk the vegetable oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic and pepper together in a bowl until combined.
- To use the marinade, place the meat in the bag, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours. Discard the marinade after it has been used.

This was very tasty, I made it up with halved quantities as only two good sized Sirloin steaks and it was more than enough. I ran out of English mustard so used Dijon instead and that was absolutely fine. All in all the steaks were marinating for around 5 hours and they came out beautiful. I BBQ'd them. I used this recipe for rib eye steak and it was marinated for 2 hours. Also used Dijon mustard as was out of English. Gorgeous and not too over powering, just perfect for me! - 29 Jan 2017
